Inventory Analyst

Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc. is looking for a full-time Inventory Analyst to join out operations team. As a Winnipeg based, federally licensed producer of cannabis. Delta 9 is a Manitoba leader with a dynamic and “growing” work environment.

The Inventory Analyst position includes work-responsibilities in both our Delta 9 Bio-Tech Company and Delta 9 Cannabis Stores, handling the challenges posed by building, extracting, analyzing and managing inventory and business data.

Works within retail, production, and distribution divisions, analyzing data and building communications, providing a link between raw enterprise data to both the internal and external client - supporting key business decisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain systems for recording business and inventory data;
  • Examine reports to locate and resolve errors;
  • Analyze data for business and inventory reports, make sure data, and calculations are accurate;
  • Coordinate with management, when implementing data collection procedures;
  • Works within various system environments;
  • Design/develop and/or support metrics, and reports;
  • Assembles and/or supports dashboards, quarries, and templates to properly present data to internal clients within company standards;
  • Supports internal, and external clients;
  • Supports various job-related projects;
  • Analyses data to drive key business decisions;
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve inventory turnover and dealer replenishment;
  • Forecasting, demand planning and Open-to-buy;
  • Supports various job-related projects;
  • Other duties as assigned;


Requirements & Experience

  • 2-3 years prior experience & progressive responsibility in an analyst role
  • High School diploma, Secondary education in analytics, and or supply chain would be a strong asset
  • Ability to obtain a federal security clearance under the ACMPR is a requirement
  • Prior experience in an analyst role is preferred
  • Experience with EST software is an asset
  • Fully understands analytics
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft with excellence in Excel
  • Ability to periodically lift 25 pounds comfortably
  • Experience in a regulated environment is an asset

Replenishment Analyst

Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc. is looking for a full-time Replenishment Analyst to join our operations team. As a Winnipeg based, federally licensed producer of cannabis. Delta 9 is a Manitoba leader with a dynamic and “growing” work environment.

The Replenishment Analyst will work closely with the Purchasers, Production and Inventory/Category Manager - the Replenishment Analyst will implement best practices and exception reporting to maximize POS and maintain healthy in stocks;

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Works, from the excel min/max, in the Shopify environment to distributed product among stores
  • Review weekly in-stocks and provide analysis to identify inventory opportunities as they relate to in stocks, events, and POS potential;
  • Act as the liaison between the Purchasers, Logistics department to ensure smooth flow of inventory, including the communication of any PO or inventory flow issues;
  • Act as the liaison between the Purchasers and Inventory/Category Manager to ensure the timely and accurate set up of new items and vendors on an ongoing basis;
  • Collaborate internally to ensure pre-planning activities related to inventory needs are completed and to ensure allocation strategies are in alignment with company plans;
  • Analyze current and historical inventory and sales performance, and make appropriate recommendations by identifying and adjusting replenishment factors;
  • Maintains Schedular, updates and reports on cannabis stock levels.
  • Cycle Counting
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Experience:
