Math Time: How to Calculate the THC/CBD amounts in your edibles.
Have you ever wanted to know how much THC/CBD are in your edibles? Follow these steps to find out!
| 1. Start with the THC/CBD Percentage of your cannabis strain |

| 2. Divide the percentage by 100 to get the total THC per gram |

_______ % ÷ 100 = ________ THC/g
|
| 3. Multiply the THC/g by 1000 to get the number of milligrams of THC per gram. |

________ THC/g x 1000 = ________mg THC / g
|
| 4. Now, you can multiply that number by the weight of your batch. |
|
________mg THC / g x ________ grams of cannabis = _________ total mg THC
|
| 5. Take that batch number, and divide it into the amount of butter (in mL) |
|
________ mg THC ÷ _________ mL of butter = _________ mg THC / mL butter
|
| 6. To calculate how much THC is in your edibles, take the amount of butter… |

________ mL of butter in recipe x _________ mg THC / mL of butter = ________ mg of THC in recipe

| 7. … and divide it by the number of servings you're making. |

As an example, let's take 3.5g of a 15% THC strain to make cookies.
1. 15% THC
2. 15% THC ÷ 100 = 0.15 g THC / g
3. 0.15 THC / g * 1000 = 150mg THC
4. 150mg THC x 3.5 g in the batch = 525 mg THC total
5. 525 mg THC ÷ 250 mL (1 cup) butter = 2.1 mg / mL
6. 250 mL of butter in recipe * 2.1 mg / mL = 525 mg THC in recipe
7. 525 mg THC in recipe ÷ 25 cookies = 21 mg THC per cookie
