The Countdown is On!

You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers!

Cannabis legalization in Canada happens on Wednesday October 17th, 2018. Delta 9 is currently working hard to ensure that cannabis is available to Manitobans across the province on that date. We currently have plans to open two retail cannabis stores in Winnipeg on that date. We also plan to open our online retail store on October 17th as well.

That means, if you live in Manitoba, you’ll be able to order online on that date. If you live in Winnipeg, you’ll be able to come visit one of our retail stores.

There are over 111 cannabinoids currently known to exist in the cannabis plant. THC and CBD are the two most popular. THC is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis while CBD is known for its therapeutic properties such as: anti-inflammation, anti-seizure, anti-anxiety, and more. The higher the THC levels found in cannabis, the more of a “high” that you’ll experience when consuming. By contrast, CBD does not provide any sort of psychoactive results.
All cannabis strains are categorized into three categories:
Sativa – These strains are associated with producing uplifting and positive mood enhancing effects.
Indica – Typically these strains produce a calming and physically relaxing effect.
Hybrid – Based on the variety of Sativa and Indica, these strains provide a combination of effects.

Start Low. Go Slow.

If you’re new to cannabis, we suggest that you start by consuming small amounts and choose a strain that has low THC. It’s also recommended that you avoid combining cannabis and alcohol consumption. Remember to always consume cannabis in a safe and familiar environment.
