New Automated Bottling Plant Vaults Delta 9 Into the Big Leagues of Canadian Cannabis Industry

Delta 9 just joined the big leagues of the Canadian cannabis industry with a new automated bottling plant that will make them much more efficient.

They will now be able to easily bottle up to 100 kilograms of cannabis per week. In layman’s terms, that’s approximately 300,000 joints a week. Wow!

“The new bottling plant is exceptionally fast and it allows us to stay competitive,” said Mark Jonker, VP of Operations at Delta 9. “We work constantly on reducing our costs and increasing our capacity, and the staff that we free up as a result of this automation are now available to work on other product lines.”

The new plant allows Delta 9 to take cannabis flower from bulk to bottle, including automated sealing and labeling, before being packed into cases for sale.

“We anticipate a 400% increase in production capacity,” said Jonker. “The new bottling system also opens the door for producing more types of finished products.”

Delta 9 Cannabis will now be able to easily bottle up to 100 kilograms of cannabis per week.

The new system also allows for manual bottling of specific batches of cannabis that may require additional hands-on work.

“Each strain has its own unique qualities that may require different settings,” said Jonker. “Given the complexities of dealing with dried flower, we’re incredibly happy with the new system.

“We’re excited and optimistic about the possibilities. This makes us an even more integrated company from harvest to finished product, and we’re already a low-cost producer.”

The bottling plant is not only good news for investors and Delta 9 partners, but also for consumers and loyal customers, who will continue to see the efficiencies in Delta 9 operations reflected in the final pricing.
